The artist plays with the iconic figure of the Mona Lisa in a playful project entitled «Mona in Paris» (Mona in the Metro). He had her escape from the Louvre and wander through the city like a true Parisian, taking the Metro to all the capital’s must-see places. Each district becomes a pretext for changing her look.

He glues mini-portraits of the Mona Lisa discreetly around the city. These works wink at people passing by, inviting them to take part in an artistic treasure hunt. Each portrait is a clue, a piece of the puzzle that curious observers can assemble to follow the Mona Lisa’s journey through Paris.
